About
Little Explorers is a set of nature games for kids about 3 to 6. Nothing to read, no way to lose, and every critter is a real animal. It starts with ones you can find around Georgia. Finding every Georgia critter opens the desert, then the rainforest, then the ice and snow, each with its own animals and a couple of rare ones. Wisconsin is open from the start: badgers, loons, sandhill cranes, a giant lake sturgeon and dairy cows by a red barn in the fall. The car and truck games are for the same ages: park cars in matching spots, drive a monster truck over ramps and rows of cars, and wash, paint and decorate a muddy car. The dinosaur games teach what lived in the age of dinosaurs: dig up fossils and rebuild skeletons for a Dino Museum, travel back to the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous to meet who lived there (including the flying and swimming reptiles that weren't dinosaurs), and hatch baby dinosaurs and feed them what they really ate. Rainbow Ride is for a little older, pre-K to second grade: pick a grade, and every stop on the unicorn's rainbow road is a puzzle for it, from shape sorters and counting to reading, clocks, money and place value.
