Six concepts for the Lab. Each one leans on the literal meaning of tangent — a line that just kisses a curve — and uses it as the core verb. Four are playable.
Your ball orbits a planet. Tap to release it tangentially. Land on the colored goal arc. Extra planets capture you for new orbits — chain them to reach the goal.
Play →Snake remix on a round field. Tap to snap your direction to the tangent at your current position (relative to the center). Eat the letters T-A-N-G-E-N-T in order.
Play →A wheel spins. The white barrel marks the launch point. Tap to fling a ball along the tangent at that instant. Hit the target. Streaks build score; misses cost a life.
Play →Endless wave runner. Ride the continuous sine wave; tap on an upslope to launch along the tangent at takeoff, then fly under gravity to clear the gaps.
Play →Word puzzle. Letters sit on circles scattered around the board. Drag a single tangent line between two circles to chain letters into words. Boggle, but geometric.
Calm, NYT-Games style.Trick-shot puzzler with curved cushions — cue ball reflects along the tangent at contact. Prototype exists but the loop didn't click in playtesting.
